Experience
The main reason why you cannot miss this incredible excursion is because of the combination of culture and nature that it offers. Because on Catalina Island you will feel the power of the fauna, flora and the sea, while in Altos de Chavón you will see some monuments that will transport you to the best of European art in the heart of the Dominican Republic.
The Aquarium on Catalina Island is one of the best diving spots in the entire country. With a depth of just 11 meters, you can see all the marine life that gathers around the coral reef while snorkeling.
As if that were not enough, you can explore unspoiled beaches such as the East, North or West beaches on your own. A true paradise that you will have practically to yourself.
Furthermore, the town of Altos de Chavón is one of the most popular cultural visits in the country. With monuments such as the church of San Estanislao, the pre-Columbian museum or the Greek amphitheater, you can learn about the history of one of the most curious places in the Dominican Republic. But the medieval town is perfect for exploring on foot, letting yourself be carried along its cobbled streets to wonderful corners.
