Experience
Saona Island is not only a beautiful natural place, but it also has a very interesting history. For the Taínos, indigenous inhabitants of the island, it was called Adamanay. It was later, with the arrival of Christopher Columbus, when the island was renamed Bella Savonesa in honor of Michele da Cuneo, a native of the city of Savona, in Italy. The Saona Island excursion with Mano Juan has one major difference from the classic tour: you will visit a greater number of spots on the island. Mano Juan and Canto de la Playa, for example, are not included in the classic tour.
In addition, you will enjoy much more personalized attention, since the groups are small, with a private lunch and professional guides who will make sure that everything goes well during the tour.
